Glosso – Terms of Service

Welcome to Glosso! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Glosso mobile application ("App") operated by Glosso ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

You may use the App as a guest or create an account using email and password, or Sign in with Google where enabled. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.

3. Game Rules and Fair Play

• Glosso is a word-guessing game supporting multiple languages. Game modes include Daily Word, Free Play, Duels, and Private Rooms.
• You agree to play fairly and not use cheating tools, bots, or any automated methods to gain an unfair advantage.
• Offensive, inappropriate, or harassing behavior in duels, private rooms, or usernames is prohibited.
• We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts that violate fair play rules.

4. Virtual Currency and In-App Purchases

• The App offers virtual currency (e.g. diamonds and similar in-app balances) that can be earned through gameplay or watching rewarded ads, and purchased through in-app purchases.
• Virtual currency has no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money.
• All in-app purchases are processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.
• We reserve the right to modify the pricing, availability, and functionality of virtual items at any time.

5. Premium Subscriptions

Glosso offers optional premium subscriptions ("Premium VIP") that provide additional features such as ad-free experience, exclusive themes, and enhanced gameplay options. Subscriptions are billed monthly through the platform's payment system. You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings.

6. Advertisements

The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the App, you consent to receiving these advertisements. You may remove ads by purchasing the ad-free package or subscribing to Premium VIP.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (e.g., usernames, room names). However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use this content within the App's services. You agree not to submit content that is offensive, illegal, or infringes on third-party rights.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, sounds, word lists, game mechanics, and all other elements, is the intellectual property of Glosso. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or other means. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
